The focus for my last academic year at my beloved Oglethorpe will be teaching in our Actuarial Science program:  finishing the courses needed for our second cohort of students.

Over my remaining courses, I will return to our innovative new course preparing Biology majors in quantitative methods and to our beginning Statistics course preparing Sociology majors for their research methods course. 


Fall 2025:

  • MAT-345:  Mathematical Statistics (Actuarial Science major & Mathematics major)
  • MAT-355:  Fundamental Actuarial Mathematics I:  Short-Term Methods (Actuarial Science major)

  • MAT-360:  Fundamental Actuarial Mathematics II:  Long-Term Methods (Actuarial Science major)
  • MAT-455:  Advanced Short-Term Actuarial Mathematics (Actuarial Science major)
